About Ken Berry, MSOM, LAc
Ken Berry founded Asian Therapeutics in 2007 with the goal of helping his patients achieve optimal health through natural medicine.
Ken received his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (summa cum laude) from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley, where he was an Assistant Professor for many years.
He has worked with patients ages 11-102 on a wide variety of health issues.
Ken Berry also holds the rank of Shodan (black belt) in Aikido, a martial art based on peaceful conflict resolution. Ken Berry’s professional memberships include the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the American Pregnancy Association.
Ken Berry is a contracted provider for Sutter Physicians Alliance and is licensed to practice acupuncture by the California Acupuncture Board. (Lic #11845)
About Carissa Simper, MSOM, LAc
Carissa Simper studied at Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley. She got into this field because she appreciates medicine and the sacred space that particularly Acupuncture has to offer. As she went through school she witnessed first hand the amazing results of Acupuncture and enjoyed the bonds she formed with her patients along the way.
