Fees and Insurance

We believe that health care pricing should be reasonable, transparent, and understandable. We offer a significant discount for payment at the time of your visit. Typically, those rates are as follows:

Acupuncture with Time of Service Discount

First Acupuncture Office Visit up to 90 minutes, including health history, intake, Q&A, treatment planning, and acupuncture treatment $95.00
Returning Patient Acupuncture Office Visit up to 60 minutes, including progress updates and acupuncture treatment $75.00
Well Care Acupuncture Office Visit 30-minute acupuncture-only visit for stress management and overall health. – We do not address specific health concerns in a Well Care Visit. $35.00

Payment options include cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express.

Discounts

The following discounts may not be combined or applied retroactively.

Income-based Discount – Inspired by the new Affordable Care Act, we offer a certain number of discounted appointment slots for Sacramento County and Yolo County residents whose household income is less than 4x the poverty guideline (currently $45,960 for individuals). Waitlisting is available if all spaces are currently filled. If you would like to request more information about this program, please email us at acupuncture@asiantherapeutics.com.

Buy 9, Get 3 Treatments Package – If you prepay for nine acupuncture visits, you will receive three additional treatments at no charge. Your package never expires, but is not transferable. If you choose to discontinue care with us, you are entitled to 100% of your remaining balance.

Insurance with Acupuncture Benefit

Insurance is billed at our full rates based on the procedures performed during your treatment. Our full rate schedule is available upon request.

Coverage is restricted to medically necessary treatment and is usually limited to the treatment of pain and/or nausea. Herbal medicine is generally not covered.

If you would like for us to check the details of your policy’s acupuncture coverage, please complete our secure insurance verification form. We’ll contact your insurance company and let you know the results.
